This is my boyfriend’s band, No Clear Way. I’m suppose to be ~promoting~ them to try to get people into them, and this is as far as I’m going to go. What do you think, world of Tumblr?

I’m not a huge fan of the guy’s vocals (or the lyrics) particularly at the start, but I like the pacing throughout most of it. It builds up well (the acoustic guitar is awesome at the start) and has a pretty good sound all throughout. I wasn’t a fan of the ending. The last 10 seconds? Yeah, that was a pretty good way to end it. But the 40 seconds before that? Sorta anti-climactic. I thought it was building up to something ~more~.

The middle bit before the girl singing (who sounds great, btw!) is a great ..mellow.. part of the song probably that and when she sings is probably my favourite part of the song. Though when the guy in the background is like “ohhh ohhhh” it’s really sorta annoying after the first couple of times.

TBH, my biggest complaint would be the guy singing at the start feels outside of the song (due to his voice) and ..uninviting? IDFK. It gets a lot better after that, though. And it’s just those 15 odd seconds where it sounds …poor.

Pretty cool, though. *buys the album* (edit: Bought’d.)
